    In 2005 UTair began the first commercial operations with ATR-42 turbo-prop planes on the Russian market, and now the carrier operates 12 aircraft of this type as well as two ATR-72 turbo-prop planes.

    UTair is phasing out its An-24 and Yak-40 aircraft and replacing them with new turbo-prop ATR aircraft. In 2008, UTair began operations with Boeing 737 aircraft and expects to add ten more aircraft of this type to the fleet by 2009.
