UTair’s long and successful history of maintenance and repair operations has been consolidated in UTair-Technik, founded in 2005.
The primary focus of UTair-Technik is maintaining the continuous, smooth and safe operation of aircraft of the UTair fleet and aircraft of other airlines according to global standards. UTair-Technik is one of the largest integrated aircraft repair and maintenance operations in Russia with its base at the Roshino Airport in Tyumen and supporting line stations in Surgut, Moscow and Ufa. UTair subsidiaries UTair-Engineering and UTair-Express Train have further expanded the range of MRO and technical capabilities in Russia. In addition, UTair also maintains helicopter maintenance operations in many African countries.
UTair Aviation has 6 aircraft technical bases in airports of Noyabrsk, Surgut, Mys-Kamenny, Tazovsk, Plekhanovo (in the city of Tyumen), Berezovo, a line station in the Roshchino airport (in the city of Tyumen) and technical centers in the airport of Khanty-Mansisk and the Bely Yar airport.
The company's technical bases, responsible for aviation engineering support for flights, are certified for technical maintenance of the following aircraft: IL-76, An-12, An-24, An-26, An-2, Tu-154, Tu-134, Yak-42, Yak-40, Mi-26, Mi-10, Mi-6, Mi-8 and Mi-2. These bases are equipped with all necessary personnel and equipment for the high-quality technical maintenance of planes and helicopters, their engines and onboard electronic equipment as well as hangar facilities.
The central UTair aircraft technical base is located in an airport in the city of Surgut, and it includes the Roshchino line base, the Plekhanovo center for helicopter technical maintenance and repairs and a technical facility in Khanty-Mansiysk.
UTair hangar facilities accommodate all aircraft types. Professional engineering and technical service crews maintain the UTair helicopter fleet in constant readiness for flights in the widest climactic conditions and temperature range, above swamplands, near sand dumps at deposits and in areas far from technical bases.
UTair Aviation has its own specialized facility of material and technical supplies called Tyumenaviatekhsnab based in the Roshchino Airport near the city of Tyumen. This facility is comprised of a complex of warehouse facilities, access roads, transport facilities and loading and unloading equipment.
